CALPELRA Members include individuals employed by or retired from the State of California, municipal or county governments, courts, public education agencies, public higher education institutions, or special districts, who have a professional interest in labor relations and/or human resources.

CALPELRA Friends include individuals who own, are employed by, or work as a consultant for all private sector firms retained by California public agencies, including law firms, human resource consultants, insurance and benefits providers, actuarial firms, and software technology firms, as well as non-profit organizations and associations.
