CALPELRA's Annual Training Conference offers many opportunities for you to network with your peers from all around the state. Look for details about each of the following events in the Conference program guide.

Conference Venue Tour

Join Conference Program Committee members for a short, fun walking tour of the Conference venues before the Welcome Reception.

Welcome Reception
Tuesday, December 5
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

After you arrive in Monterey, take a few minutes to register for the Conference, and then join the CALPELRA Board and Conference Program Committee members as they welcome you and your CALPELRA colleagues to the Conference, with hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

Morning Walk, Stroll, Or Run
Wednesday and Thursday, December 6 and 7
6:30 a.m. - 7:15 a.m.

Start your days with an invigorating walk, stroll, or run along the beautiful Monterey Bay. Meet old friends and new in the Portola Hotel & Spa lobby at 6:30 a.m. When you return, enjoy the Conference continental breakfast or take your breakfast up to your room and prepare for a full day of Conference sessions.

Wednesday Reception/Wine Tasting With Conference Exhibitors

5:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.

After a long day of intense Conference sessions, come and unwind with your friends and colleagues at our Wednesday reception. Spend some relaxed time with our valued exhibitors as they pour some of their favorite wines for your tasting, and pair your wine with some tasty hors d’oeuvres before you head out to enjoy the evening.

Thursday Grand Reception/Monterey Bay Aquarium
Thursday, December 7
6:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Join us Thursday evening for a full dinner and reception at the beautiful and amazing Monterey Bay Aquarium. Join old friends and new for dinner, and enjoy some music and dancing. Spend some time in the casino for a chance to win some great prizes. Commemorate the evening with a complimentary photo at the photo booth.  Enjoy exclusive access to the Aquarium exhibits while the Aquarium is open to CALPELRA Conference participants only.
