Membership Categories
Member — Open to
persons employed by the State of California, county or municipal governments, courts, public
education agencies, public higher education institutions, or special districts, who are assigned the
primary or support functions for the jurisdiction's labor relations/human resources activities. This
type of membership is an individual membership.
2010-2011 Annual Dues: $350.00
Friend — Open to
individuals from law firms, consulting firms, or persons retained by the state, county, municipal
government, school districts or special districts to represent management's interests exclusively in
the area of labor relations/human resources. This type of membership is an individual
membership. Friend members shall not be eligible to serve
as officers or members of the Board of Directors.
2010-2011 Annual Dues: $395.00
Retiree Member —
Open to persons retired from the labor relations/human resources field, and not currently working. This type of
membership is an individual membership.
2010-2011 Annual Dues: $200.00
Student Member —
Open to
individuals who are full-time upper level or graduate students not currently working full-time in the labor relations/human resources field. This type of membership is an individual
membership.
2010-2011 Annual Dues: $85.00
CALPELRA's membership year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30.
