From the Monterey Airport, leaving the airport, turn right on HWY 68. Take HWY 68 to HWY 1 south. Continue on HWY 1 and exit at the first Monterey exit. Turn right on Camino Aguajito and continue eight blocks to Del Monte Avenue. Turn left. Stay to the left past the fork at Fisherman's Wharf. The Portola Plaza Hotel is on the right side, two traffic lights up in the Portola Plaza. The Monterey Marriott is three traffic lights up to your left on the corner of Calle Principal and Del Monte Boulevard.

From Northern California

Take HWY 101 south to HWY 156 west to HWY 1 south exit at Pacific Grove/Del Monte Avenue. Continue down Del Monte Avenue for 1.5 miles, staying in the left lane. Stay to the left past the fork following downtown signs (not going through the tunnel). The Portola Plaza hotel is two blocks up on the right side in the Portola Plaza (right turn off Del Monte Boulevard). The Monterey Marriott is three traffic lights up to your left on the corner of Calle Principal and Del Monte Boulevard.

From Southern California

Traveling On 101 North Take Monterey Peninsula exit which will bring you to HWY 68. Travel on HWY 68 to HWY 1 South. Take first Monterey exit.
